As per the title, who would you like to see get the job at the Crows next season?

Leon Cameron is held in high regard but unfortunately I think it will be one of our own not the best possible candidate.

Seriously I think Roy Laird would make a good coach but is it true that he is petrified of flying and that is the reason he hasnt gone for an assistants job at an AFL club? Would love to know whether this is fact or myth

It should be a given, if you vote "other" then you should post and tell us whom...

FWIW, I chose Paul Roos.

Basset

To take the rabble of Norwood, lose the first 5 games then make a GF in first year is amazing.

To then lose 4 of your best players to AFL as mature age recruits, Puopolo, Lower, Duigan, Phillips, just goes to show:

1. His amazing development of players
2. His ability to this year again being super competitive while sitting 2nd on ladder (and beating the reigning premiers)

We all saw the emotion he played with, if he brought that passion to the table at AFC it could make all the difference.

I went with either Bassett or Burns, Burns has some runs on the board in terms of playing at a competitive side and Assistant Coaching experience at a quality side. Bassett has shown very good form under limiting circumstances at Norwood and is highly regarded as a junior player development coach, considering that the great hope for Adelaide is their juniors someone like Bassett could well be the best option to take them forward.

The issue with getting a current assistant Coach at the Crows is the influence over them from the current coach, think a clean sheet is needed and a new start to go forward.

Norwood is everything. The Crows are nothing. You should have noticed this back in 1991 when Cornes led 'Glenelg lite'. Basset looks pretty comfy at Norwood and that Craig is a geniearse. I reckon the AFL scouts and the coaching scouts should all **** off to Elizabeth. After all, they're the mob that has won 12 of the last seven premierships.

**** the Cows!
