I find Matthew Richardson (surprisingly) entertaining and not the immature dill
he seemed to be when he played and made the odd appearance on The Footy Show.
A week or so ago he apparently had the temerity to be honest and call one game
dull or dreadful or whatever, which then had the head caller,which was Brian Taylor IIRC,
doing the company line and saying the game was great.
After the match Richo said was 'confused' ,which I think was in reference to everyone else
spruiking what a good game it was and his view as to what a stinker it really was.
I think Leigh Matthews is the best special comments man by a country mile.

Just really smart comments, always sees things or players open before they happen.

Very interesting observation Friday night on how Melbourne is the only team not implemnting the 'press'.

And gets all of commettis 'jokes'

Agree 66 about Richo, pleasantly surprised, used to have him on a par with Shane Crawford, plus never thought he seemed that intelligent or composed in the way he played his footy.
Harley is excellent, Matthews good too.
Don't mind Anthony Hudson calling the footy, although reckon he is better suited to radio where was a good straightman when calling with Rex and Sam on 3AW 10+ years ago.
Love listenting to Sam Newman when he wants to simply talk about footy.
Didn't mind Brereton on the Sunday Footy Show couple of weeks ago, though this is probably being the best of a bad bunch, and didn't usd to mind his commentary either.
