Is it just me or are his articles on the AFL website just pure dribble?
If he's the best the AFL can do for an 'expert' there's something seriously wrong.
Today's article about Rodney Eade and Ross Lyon switching clubs is a prime example.

His commentary is just as bad, even on the netball.
I won't be reading any more of his stuff, put it that way.

Actually don't mind him on the footy or on the Fifth Quarter, except when he tries to defend the rules-of-the-game committee.

True, although that says more about the standard of 'experts' in the media than it does about Darcy.

Not that i have read any of his articles, the amount of stories about the AFL is increasing dramatically and it has well and truly become a gossip magazine with a good percentage of them absolute garbge.Maybe journalist are under more pressure now producing something that hasnt been discussed or covered which in the long run detoriates and will only become worse in the future.

Luke Darcy brings me a lot of joy. Like any decent Cat I've got the 2009 Victory Pack. If you are a Geelong person I highly recommend one of those.
In the Qualifying Final it was the Bullies vs. The Cats and the Cats wobbled into September. Luke Darcy is pretty happy at the start of that disk and talking up the Bullies, I think he convinced a few of his mates along the way as well. It was quite a while before that shit stopped but the silence was deafening when it happened. Absolute music to my ears. But it wasn't as good as Lane's Cat write off in a match we ended up winning by over a hundred ha ha.

REB

"..Or even make it compulsory for one full-back kick-in per quarter to be a torp."

One of the odder ideas I've heard for a while.
