Glad Bock got a match he has always dominated against Essendon, so it gives us a huge lift.
Scarlett was a tad late but i thought he was making a genuine attempt to spoil and surely we cant lose that out of the game. A defender has to be allowed a bit of leeway, its a split second decision and scarlett was already comitted he cant pull out mid air

Plenty have been suspended in that exact same scenario. It seems to be if the player on the receiving end gets up and continues on, then it's not worth a suspension.

For doing an effective spoil? Get real. Contact was incidental and the MRP got it right. Contact was not incidental with the Mitchell incident however. Just before that tackle on Johnson Mitchell gave Johnson one in the guts and of course it was the retalation that drew the free when Johnson broke even. There was some push and shove between Mitchell and Johnson also.

When Mitchell tackled Johsnon not all that long after you could tell there was some additional sauce put on that pie. You can see Mitchell's arms swinging in towards Johnson's shoulder and bonce as he made the tackle. Never liked Mitchell the dirty dog and I'm a biased Cat but have a close look at that tackle again if you can and watch that arm move in as he tackles Johnson.

Bloody lucky not to get a week or two for that IMO.

Mitchell did get a week.

Didn't say Scarlett should of been suspended, just saying he was lucky not too. Like I have said, seen players get games for less.
