Can anybody enlighten me as to why the Brisbane
Lions his week are training in runners in preperation
for the blockbuster this week against Essendon round 17 ?

are they playing at the dome or DOOM as you call it mal???

if they are its one possible reason a combat slippery surface

Reason is if your not training on a wet or soggy surface, runners reduce the risk of over-use injuries such as stress fractures, shin splints, especially if the training session is a lot of end to end or continuous running

Makes sense.
But on TV the lions stated it was because of playing at T/DOOM this week.

If you turn sharply in runners you can twist a joint and get injured as well SD

I dont want to start...................This post was a stir on my behalf.

As an athlete also, I concur that this is true - I've been training in sneakers aswell, recently.

the remark was the first reason that i could think of but other one that has been suggested also makes sense it was not intended to induce "that" arguement again

similar to conventional ankle taping i think but i will stand corrected on this as i had to do this about 3 years ago due to my Podiatrist **** things up

need to pull the arch of your foot upwards and outwards and thats all i can remember
