Listening to SEN's coverage of this one, and one thing stands out. Kevin Bartlett is a very good play-by-play caller. Matter-of-fact, lacks hyperbole and well measured. Not someone I'd ever really thought about as a pure commentator, but very easy to listen to.

He's very good. At least you know what's going on. He's one of the old school commentators, unfortunately a dying breed IMO.
I just listened to Brain Taylor and he kept saying "Jeffy" (which I deciphered after several attempts). I had no friggin idea who he was talking about. FFS, speak sensibly, it's radio - not somewhere we can read lips or hear 100% clearly.
**** I'm getting old.

Shocking 3 quarters by Richmond.
Great third quarter, how we only lost by three points came down to riewoldt, cotchins second half, newmanns ball use and houlis debut. Bachar was pretty good tonight.
Newman is still underrated by the outside people from our club. His ball use is superb

Why I wrote three I have no idea. I know it was 20. I'm losing it already after one Richmond game

I had Carlton by 36pts.
To be 16 pts or so in arrears with 10 mins to go then win by 20 pts.
What the f..k!!!!

On another note, ex-bay Ed Curnow was bloody good for his first afl game and coming off a limited preseason. Well played by him
