Daniel Motlop's season 2006 has come to an abrupt end.
Motlop is going in for surgery to repair a troublesome shoulder.
What a week the magical Port Power/North Adelaide player has had.

Amazing mark in a pressure situation v Aint Kilda , which brought
back memories of a similar mark Graham Cornes took one day
against Norwood [+ he kicked the goal after the siren.]

Then that kick!

Followed up by his subsequent report for striking.

And now the impending surgery.

Lets hope his shoulder comes good as this individual has some
of most breathtaking skills i have ever seen.
Trouble is he does not showcase it often enough.

He reminds me a lot of Darren Jarman.[but does it less often]

2007 must be his year

The surgery has been on the table (pardon the pun) for some weeks now.

He just didn't kick through the ball, if he did that, it's most likely would have been a goal.

Are you sure this isn't R. Lonie from Collingwood? I can't see N. Lonie from Port Adelaide gaining enough possessions to actually lead in uncontested ones, unless 95% of his possession are in fact uncontested...

No, the figure is much higher than that...

CORRECT!!!!

he was written up to be Ports "secret weapon" this season, this is a guy that only played 2 games in 2005!!!!

Ive seen a fair bit of him as a Roos fan and while great in patches, he is never consistent enough.

Has the talent but is injury prone and sturggles between the ears so Im glad we got rid of him int he end!

His reason for coming to Adelaide is to be closer to Darwin! Well done Daniel instead of being 3000km's from Darwin your are now 2500km's away!
