Heard an interesting rumor today from a reliable source, that an AFL player has met and been having talks with the NRL.

1st of all i wonder if a move would be made.
2nd what sort of response do you think it would attract? I personally don't think the excitement/hype in the NRL would be the same as the rugby league players coming to the AFL.
3rd would this open the door for more moves between different codes?

4th, does anyone want to have a guess as to the person in question?

The player in question is Patrick Dangerfield.

I've heard he has already met with NRL player agent David Riolo, the reason being he enjoyed the international rules series so much last year, but coming back to the AFL there are no higher levels/rep games to play i.e State of Origin, Australia, World cup etc.

Quick enough, stupid enough he could fit right in the NRL code.

Surely the fact that big stars are coming across from the NRL to the AFL would make you question if the NRL is worthy of playing, with the lack of money to be earnt etc:

I reckon there's more chance of him replacing Julia as PM.

Sort of. But in all reality, there is more of a chance of Westhoff becoming a netballer than there is of Moran becoming a footballer....

Westhoff becoming a netballer??? What is he at present? Moran is already a better footballer from his one half season he has played than Westhoff
