GWS has asked the other sides to play mainly kids against them in the NAB challenge. Id say get stuffed and play close to full strength and smash them by 200 pts

You got me there :D
But seriously who are these guys kidding. Carlton should play close to their best list and flog them. Teams are not put on this planet to provide GWS with easy practice.

Play your best side, win by 10 goals + and be like a training drill.

Play your weakest side, get some experience into the younger guys, playing against guys of similar ability and get a closer game.

I'll take option 2 thanks.

That may be fine this week but GWS are playing the whole NAB challenge series, what if you were the ones playing them in 2 weeks time only a fortnight out from the real deal, im guessing option 1

Will really be no different to pre-season teams of the past. remember the team that hawthorn sent to berri to play the crows in 2009. Anything GWS put out couldn't be any worse then the team the hawks put out that day.

Yeah with half box hill hawks players. Although they did have a massive injury list, plus people well under done after coming back to preseason later due to their premiership the year before

So they should imo, will welcome them to afl and show the kids where they need to get to in the next 12 months.

Even if most sides played thier younger players they still would have better conditioned AFL players, the Melbourne baased sides obviously can play some of their reserves but the interstae sides dont have that many to pick from anyway.

If my side were playing them I would be wanting them to play the best possible side available at the time. I agree with your statement they are only 12 months away from playing so they will have some indication as to where they need to be and what 16 uncontracted players they will need to pinch for 2012!

Play everyone except Judd and lose the game. We'll take option 3.

1/4 time Port 3.3 v Richmond 1.something

Mots 2 goals, chad playing well across half forward as is choppy and jacko in defence

Port 7.6 to Richmond 7.4.....

Port dominated first half of the second quarter and Richmond dominated the second half. Port lost there way a bit esp with some poor turnovers but fought back well to kick the last goal. Mots 3 goals and looks good

3/4 time

Port 75 to Richmond 66......Richmond having some better periods of play and fair few more inside fifties but Port way more efficient and dangerous in the forward 50.
