Round 16 tipping

I know we don't have a site footy tipping comp (so why don't we huh? HUH??) but no doubt many posters are testing their sanity on a weekly basis trying to win tipping competitions elsewhere.

This round looks like a real doozy...

Collingwood v West Coast: Collingwood at home, Didak and maybe Tarrant not fully fit, Holland back into the side. West Coast more dramas = Seaby as first ruck (!), Cousins not playing but Kerr, Chick and Glass back in..neither in form.

Essendon v Carlton: Tank factor, both sides have forgotten how to win. Monfries back for the Dons but Fletcher still out and McPhee suspended. Lappin omitted for the Blues but Kouta and Waite return, Bryan finally brought back into the side to help French.

Lions v Hawthorn: Aker falling into his own gob, Micheal has had enough, still a huge injury list vs a visiting side that has won only 1 match in the last ten games..another toughie here boys.

Sydney v Richmond: Swannies flat, Richmond continue to confound...Sydney shocking record at home but beat Richmond by 100 plus last time..Tiges without their useless possession accumulating machine Joel Bowden..will this hinder or help them?

St Kilda v Port: St Kilda to win easily right? Er...WRONG. Port has defeated St Kilda nine times in a row now and has never lost to St Kilda in Tasmania. Port however, appear to have a couple of key players underdone in Tredrea and Cornes. This shows that Port aren't interested in armoured vehicles and will be out to win this game. Brogan would have been real handy in this fixture.

Geelong v Bulldogs: Bulldogs have been barking at the Dome all year and own the Cats, having won 6 of the last 8. However, how much run will there be with these pups this week with another two going down in Monty and Giansirhoweveryaspellitcusa? Dogs have covered the talls but it is the runners they don't want to lose at this time of year. The Cats, (with no injuries this time) have been slowly gaining momentum and Henry Playfair will be playing for his career perhaps after getting his chance due to Josh Mahoney's kidney's slamming into Mooney's fist.

Fremantle v Melbourne: Freo win at home and lose away right. WRONG AGAIN. Freo have been poo at home the last two seasons and actually have a good away record. Melbourne's away record is not as good but have beaten Sydney and Brisbane away this season. Freo are unpredictable at the best of times and while Melbourne look good things here you wouldn't want the Demons to be your knockout team in my view.

Happy punting boyos!

REB

PS - Cows to pound the Roos as you probably would have guessed. r

Toughest round of the year so far.
I went:

Adelaide
WCE (risky, but pies have been crap)
Carlton (always good against the dons)
Brisbane (not confident)
Sydney
Saints
Bulldogs (more injuries but prob still better than pussy cats)
Melbourne (Freo due for another home shocker -I hope)

Could easily be a nightmare result!

Pretty happy with 6/8 only missing on the draw and Collingwood's win.

Didn't put them on here but I got 7/8 missing the draw, thought Id tipped the Dogs only to just check now and I picked the Cats.
