Adelaide have chosen Brodie Smith with their first round pick (no.14) at the 2010 NAB AFL Draft.
Smith is from Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL and averaged 22 disposals for South Australia during the U18 National Carnival.
The Crows selected Jarrod Lyons with their final pick at 61. He averaged 21 disposals and kicked 23 goals in 16 matches with the Sandringham Dragons this year in the TAC Cup.

Kevin Sheehan says: Medium defender/midfielder with a terrific speed-endurance combination. Powerful player who bursts from stoppages and wins plenty of the footy. Starred in the under-18 championships with All-Australian honours, and averaged 22 disposals, five clearances and six inside 50s.

Very happy with both picks. Anyone see much of Brodie in the SANFL last year?

I would have. Very good player midfielder who can snick a couple goals, I believe.

its good to see brodie smith no longer supporting the dark side of south australian football
