World beaters one week
Easybeats the next week
Where do we draw the line for inconsistency?
After todays victory I am convinced this much MALigned
football team needs a change of coach.
Chris Conningly is the problem, the talent is there but this
puniton has trouble harnessing it.
Inconsistency falls back to the coach.

Freo won't make the finals. Here's why...5 of their last 7 are at home. For any club that would mean September action but hey this is Freo..pfft as if Farmer is going to kick 6 again this year.

Anyone finishing 5th to 8th would hope they make the finals...could not ask for an easier finals game than facing Freo, at home or away.

I don't think anyone is an idiot yet, I just can't believe how easily some people on this site jump on and off the ban wagon...
Congrats to them for winning at AAMI, congrats to them for winning 6 in a row, they have some momentum and for once in the clubs history they are playing a strong brand of footy
But lets be honest here, they will not be a creditable footy club until they win a final, this will only be the clubs second finals appearance, that's not good enough, now they have to win won, to gain true respect

Have a look at their side - Johnson, Mundy, Murphy, Crowley. These guys are over 6 foot, are athletic and are skilled. Throw in Peake (carries the ball beautifully) and Schammer (still young). Franchise player Pavlich. All these guys are young and are carving their own place in the footy world. They will be around as a unit for along time - that's how you build a footy club. The finals win will come because they're not relying on a Clive Waterhouse or Daniel Bandy these days.

I have been thinking the same thing exactly.
Johnson, Mundy, Murphy, Crowley, Peake, Schammer... that's a group of youngsters any team would like. Peake needs to work on his decision making a little bit (and disposal) but definately a prospect.
