I am fan of Nash and thought at the very least he makes a good back up defender. Matt Westoff well thats a no brainer..

Yeah Nash seems to read the play well and has good skills. Westhoff should have gone about 5 years ago :)

Westhoff needed to go IMO but they should of kept Nash I like him as a player and I think he has something to offer the Power.

Never really understood the habit Port has where they pick up an older player that can play in their best 22 consistantly, keep them for a year, hardly play them and then get rid of them at the end of the year. If they do that there's really no point in picking them up in the first place.

Good to see them upgrade Hitchcock and Meyer from the Rookie list. Both are really talented young players that Port should be looking at keeping them at the club for as long as possible.

Port were hoping that he would show the potential his brother did in his breakout year in 07.....always a risk picking him up IMO and was delisted accordingly. Nash i must say surprised me, thought that with a full pre-season under his belt he would have something to offer the footy club next year...

that would be ridiculous. I see simon taylor from hawks has put himself into the pre-season / rookie draft. may be a handy mature age rookie as back up for Brogan. Don't think the young boys are quite up to it yet.
