Will GAJ still be the same player he was at the Cats?

I don't think he will be in the first season anyway. With a lot less mature bodies around him and being in a new "Set Up" he won't have those players blocking for him and giving him the easy possesions.
Discuss.

Ablett is a machine and will continue to shine. He'll stick out to the umpires even more in a team without any superstars.

The one thing that does suprise me about him leaving is that he is only one year short of becoming a life member of the Geelong Football Club. Would have thought that may have swayed his decision.

This poll fails. Where is the bitter Geelong supporter option of 'who gives a 5hit' ?

What are you so bitter about? Dont you have any other great players to admire?

I don't see that as being a problem. He's a good tackle-breaker in his own right. He'll be just as influential as he's was at Geelong.

He will be as successful as an individual however the lack of team success may impact on the publics perception of his own ability.

i agree, Geelong had a galaxy of stars around him and he will stand out even more now. May get more frustrated at times without as much help at stoppages

That maybe the new challenge he's looking for, alot of young blokes at the Gold Coast that'll learn a sh!tload from him.
Good luck to the bloke.
Lucky bastard!

He's done it all, why not have a dip at a brand new club? Such an opportunity would be pretty exciting I imagine, to get arond $10m to put yourself through it is simply stunning!

I reckon he'll get even better, wouldn't surprise me if he wins at least 1 more Brownlow with less quality team mates to steal the votes off of him.
I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do without the back up of Bartel, Chapman, Selwood and co.

He's got that from rubbing his head on the bricks at the end of his bed. Mind you, with his chick you could put up with 6 or 8 of those on your head.

I'm unsure on this one. Can't wait to until he gets out on to the park with his new team to see if he's the same player or not.

He'll be even better. Hasn't even reached his peak potential yet, set to do so in the next two years!
