LMAO. Bomber holds that much resentment about the 2006 review that he agreed to coach for four more seasons. Also, Bomber is contracted to the Cats until the end of next season. I'll believe it when I see it, not when I read it.

He was a no-show at the Brownlow and there were several theories as to why with one of them being him generally being jacked off at the AFL re the Ablett to Gold Coast thing.
He also made what I thought were odd comments after the prelim final loss:
"We've got to go back and maybe just change the way we play a bit, but we probably knew that at the start of the year - we just haven't had the total buy-in from the playing group, really."
Did he mean he knew the game plan had been superceded but the players didn't agree? Do the players run the show? Was he dirty on the players for not listening to him? Maybe I am reading too much into it but it just didn't sound like all was well.

I heard that as well and thought it was an odd thing to say, as either you are shooting yourself, or your players?

I took it that he and the coaching staff had tried to move the players onto a different style and they had not wanted to.
After the Prelim loss he also made some comments about wanting to go with less handball and more kicking in the second half of the game but the players had not taken that on board.
All coming unravelled at Sleepy Hollow.

Not even close. Compared to 1999 this is nothing. If Gazza and Bomber want to leave - there's the door boys. Both have given us great service but if they don't want to stick around we are better off without them. All clubs go through a transitional phase but your obvious glee is very cute.

Surprising given that for months Bomber barely masked his thoughts toward Ablett jumping ship at the end of the season.
I know they're different situations, but they have the same end result and some will only judge by that.

media conference at 2:30 today where it expected to be announced that Bomber is leaving and that Gazza is gone.
Pretty funny that Bomber said during the season that he loved what kind of club person Joel Selwood was for staying, now he is leaving with a year to run,
Where to now for the Cats, the run is over, Who will Coach Sando?

There will be no announcement on Gazza today.

Blake? I hope so.
I think Bomber is gone and I'm not sure about Gazza but that might just be a case of denial....
