Can't say any of those are a surprise, gives us room now in the cap and hopefully we can make a play for jacobs? as well as a few youngsters in the draft....

On the "Trades for 2011" thread, Jacobs has officially requested a trade to the Crows, and Carlton are beginning talks with Crows now.

How does that give you any room in the cap? 3 rookies and 2 base players on the senior list would not give you room really at all! Just provides for the necessary changes thats all IMO

M Westhoff quite lucky, obviously saved by the extra year on his contract.

Gives us enough room to draft some youngsters and maybe have a crack at an out of contract player.....such as jacobs, but by the sounds of things he has signalled intentions to come to the crows....we dont have or need a heap of room in our salary cap to attract a recycled player, say in the pre-season draft....im not at all saying we have a heap of money to throw around now with the delisting of 5 spuds....allthough matthew westhoff should have joined that list also....
