It appears as I talk to people that there's a massive dislike for Collingwood - there are a lot of people barracking for St Kilda because of their dislike for Collingwood.

Now I don't want this thread to turn into a 'hate' thread - so please refrain yourself !

But...

I have a genuine interest in why oh why such a dislike.

So thought I'd start a poll.

If you dislike/hate Collingwood - is it because:

A) Can't stand Eddie McQuire
B) Just can't stand Collingwood.

I actually don't mind Collingwood myself and will be barracking for them on the weekend

Most people it's probably just because they're (Collingwood) all talk with very little success to show for that talk. Certainly very little success in all our lifetimes at least.

Plenty of clubs I dislike more than Collingwood so therefore I can't vote.

Having said that, would love to see the Saints get up only because they're not one of the several clubs I dislike more than Collingwood.

No hatred of Collingwood at all. A great footy club and if they win, good luck to them.

People can say what they like about Eddie, but he's a great President for the Collingwood Football Club.

I like Collingwood and like Eddie. Always have.

There are a number of teams I dislike more than Collingwood, however, there is this undeniable pleasure when they lose. Perhaps it is because they are some of the most passionate and vocal supporters when they get their tails up.

I like the Pies.

Eddie is ok he amuses me not annoys me.

i could not speak enough of the love i have for the collingwood footy club. as i suppose most blokes do, they support the team their father supported when they were growing up. my father went for collingwood, as do my two older brothers.

I LOVE US MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF!

Cant say i like or hate collingwood. Just want to see the saints win a flag.

I can't stand them. Always have and always will. I can't stand Didak either. Cocky little prick he is. It just goes to show how unpopular they are when you talk to people, because you can't even use their success as a reason to dislike them, because they haven't had any.

Dad barracked for Essendon while I was growing up, so I did, and through that came my hatred of Collingwood.

BC - do you like Stevie Milne?

Barracked for Collingwood many moons ago.

Turned against them when McAllister campaigned against Port in 1990.

Leading to the 8-6 vote which stonewalled the AFL bid.

But Eddie has done a great job as prez.

Just hope he has a similar look of disappointment on Saturday as he did on Brownlow Medal night...

I hate St Kilda. A mob of **** & sooks.

I dislike Collingwood, but not as much as Essendon. I REALLY hate those pricks

No problems at all with Collingwood, in fact I think they wear the mantle of the codes biggest club quite well ... Eddie has done an incredible job at turning that place around and you could never, for a second question his passion for them.

Im pretty sure we would all want people like that involved or running our own clubs.

Stevie Milne comes across as a horrible little pest but boy would I love to see him in a Crows guernsey !
Regarding Collingwood --- don't like them and would love to see them lose, but that's more because of certain supporters that I know.

I don't have Collingwood. Too many Norwood boys have played for em! But I do hate Ross Lyon's 'Sydney Lite' carp so I'll be cheering on the Pies on Saturday.
