Do umpires have access to match statistics when they cast their Brownlow votes or are they purposely isolated from this information?

Definitely have access available to them if they wish but generally they discuss it between themselves and only use data if they cant come to a conclusion.

Would have been interesting to see Joel Bowden's tally if they had them when he was at his statistical heights.

Dane Swan will enter the count as the shortest priced favorite since Shane Crawford was $1.60 on the night of his 1999 win.
