ST KILDA 19-8...COLLINWOOD 9-9
St kilda demolished an ordinary Collingwood today by 59 points.
Inspired by Brownlow Medal contender Nick DELSANTO the Aints
are now living up to pre-season flag contention.
Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse was out coached by his
counterpart Grant Thomas, Collingwood had no game plan when
thier trade mark run out of defence was stifled by a determined
St Kilda outfit.
Vicious rumours that coach Thomas and his assistant Mcguane are
involved in accrued gambling debts to bookmaker Simon Beasley
to the tune of $100,000 obviously did not affect the playing personel.
Having the inspirational Shane Warne around the club the last couple
of weeks may have inspired the Aints.
regards from the spirit of 66 supporter MAL.

Mal, living up to their pre-season flag contenders, hmmmm didn't the Crows make them look very ordinary two weeks ago
I predicted weeks ago for the Pies to run out of steam, maybe this is occuring
Congrats to the Saints, but personally I do not fear em

TASSIE
A bookie in this state told me about THOMAS/MCGUANE/BEASLEY.
I cant confirm it im hoping someone else will.
SYD-DOG
The Aints resurgance will be worrying Neil Craig and company.
Just look at that final at footy park last year when Thomas
gave Craig a lesson that night.
Adelaide had no game plan when Harvey and Delsanto ran riot.

Craig will have learnt from that mistake and it wont happen twice. the crows are far more drilled unit this year than last i think.

Grant Thomas should've bought a lottery ticket that night!

Mal,
last year's result has no bearing on this year but if it gives you false confidence well embrace it
3 weeks ago after the Saints beat Sydney by 2 pts the Saints ban-wagon started rolling until Adelaide pulled their paints down smacked them by 63 pts in Melbourne
Today, the crows smacked Sydney easily in Sydney, which exposes Sydney's poor form, and Collingwood has lost 3 out of the past 4, so their form is not great either.......
I personally would welcome a final against the Saints and I am sure it would be the DREAM final craigy would want too

I thought i would get SD/PR biting
Im just taking the piss out of you guys.
Tassie will give Craigy a phone call and tell him
to tag Delsanto with Riley ! if they play in finals.
Sadly my Aints have got no show to win the flag
Not the coach , not the players but the AFL draw.
Thier last 5 game venues will wipe them out
RD18...T/DOOM
RD19...T/DOOM
RD20...SUBIACO
RD21...T/DOOM
RD22...GABBA
Thats 5 games on 5 hard surfaces, even if they gave my mob
another 10 first round draft pickes it would make no difference.
Not even Adelaide could win with this draw.
You guys will have the last laugh on Aint Kilda this year so let
me bask in some glory whilst it lasts......................................

I wouldn't waste Reilly on Del Santo....
Shirley would be on him if Del Santo was the primary TAG or if you wanted a run with role Mattner or Van Berlo who can expose his lack of endurance....
Hey del Santo is a good player don't get me wrong, just that i am more than happy with teh Reilly pick up, have been ever since he backed back into pack in the 2003 pre season GF and got cleaned up......demosntrated that here was a young kid that does the hard things too when it is his turn to put his body on the line.....

In an Andrew Jarman column last year Jars called
Reilly as being soft, this was highlighted again this week.
Thats what Jars said not me so dont retaliate Tassie.
It wont happen Aints are stuffed with that UNFAIR draw.

Goodwin, smashed Del Santo last game, restricted him to 8 ineffective kicks.........
crows have 6 of their last 8 at AAMI, great preperation for finals, not to mention Perrie and Welsh back playing SANFL next week, Hudson in two weeks, Douglas and Hart are close also so their will be plenty of competition for spots....
All going well two finals at home before a possible GF Berth, meaning Adelaide will only travel another two times, including one game at the MCG IN THE NEXT 10 WEEKS leading up to the GF.........

Perrie maybe
Hart yes
Others will make no difference to the Crows chances
Your right its a good draw compared to the Aints.

Only half the lies Jars tell are true...I know what I saw with my own eyes three years ago, and it wasn't what I would call soft

but we have earnt the luxury of the home run, we have travel to all states, won in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth , Melbourne and Sydney
Think you would find that Craigy stated this week that Perrie, Welsh and Bock are alll in his best 22, Perrie gives Craigy flexibilty with McGregor......... Stevens has done a job but he is not in our best 22 come finals

Yes SD your boys have done thier travel, and done it well.
But they wont have to do it at the business end like the Aints.
Last year AC travelled to perth last game and defeated WC,
that effort of travelling may have been the catalyst to thier
average finals form last year.
Win draw or lose make some concession that the Aints have
a diabolical run home please SD.

3 out of your last 5 in Melb, if your good enough you will over come it, like the crows were good enough early in the season to manage their horror travel schedule

5 out of 5 on the hardest surfaces is an issue, despite
the venues.

Hang on dont the Saints CHOOSE to play their home games on the Telstra Dome. There could surely be no blame on anyone than themselves!

bad admin, bad coach, bad choice of ground.
Had they known how bad the T/DOOM was just maybe
things would be different.
Please dont wind up me and S-DOG about that f....g oval.
