After reading the Mark Jamar thread, I would certainly consider him one of the most improved players.
I'm not sure if there is an award for this, but I would like poster's thoughts on who they would consider the most improved player in the league.
If we get some suggestions I will set up a poll.

Being a Cat's fan, I'd say this has been break out year for Tom Hawkins and Travis Varcoe, and they'd certainly be up there, but Jamar would be hard to beat...

What would we think of Jack "The Ripper" Riewoldt? He has obviously taken "the next step" as well.

I would think the same about Goddard and Sandi. Both very good but were guns last year.

Along with others mentioned, I reckon the following have either shown improvement on last year, or other years they've had.

Some went from average to good, some from average to bordering on top tier.

For me I think Richard Douglas is the most improved by far, followed closely by Jumpin Jack and Kieran Jack!!

Also one that no one has mentioned is someone iv never rated until this year but has played some great footy is Sharrod Wellingham!

Agree REB that Youngs 08 was probably his best, reckon this year would be close to his second best but yeah happy to scarp him from this list.
