Word is that there is a Board Meeting at Essendon this week to discuss Matthew Knights. Could the possible replacement be a M. Williams if there is a change? Word has it that Williams has a few big names in his corner if indeed a replacement happens.

Knights was a terrible choice.
Hopefully Choco takes K Cornes with him!

Although there's nothing better then watching Knights & Campo laughing in the commentary box when they're getting beat.....

Knights was a strange choice a few years back, and hasn't shown a lot to prove his doubters wrong. I'm sure the Essendon board, just like the Port board, wish they had have taken Hardwick when he was available.

I believe when I said he would be a dud from the start and the whole during his first season, I was told I knew nothing about football and he will turn out to be good, bla bla bla bla.......isnt that right No Mercy
Look I dont know if I want Choko in charge either, but then again I think he will better than knights.

Knights was fantastic at Port Magpies. Was not his fault at all but the backward thinking people who ran the place. Look at what has transpired since at Port Magpies. NOTHING. Knights can Coach but does not have the greatest of lists to work with. I think is a great shame if he goes at Essendon and hope he stays on. Look at Geelong a few years ago with Bomber Thompson and they were about to get rid of him and look what happened. Knights should be left to finish his contract at the end of 2011. Geez the bloke has just taken over a list fhat not even Sheedy could make work and it will take time. Would not be getting into No Mercy if you have no idea. Sure his record is not great but that is not the real measure of him as a Coach just yet.

Their back half has been decimated by injury and suspension. Hooker, Pears and Fletcher all at once. Look at what happened to Hawthorn last year and they are a premiership winning combination. The board has rocks in it's head. It's not a new coach they need but some big bodies in the back half.

REB

As a Bomber fan would be quite happy to see Knights go. Who would i like to replace him ??
Brenton Sanderson - If Bomber Thompson raves about him then thats good enough for me.

I don't think he has the cattle at present to be honest ( sh!t loads of injuries ) & its tough having greats like Lloyd, Lucas & Hird not supportive from day 1 of your coach bitching behind his back
Actually its a bloody disgrace, Lloyd especially he's been a critic since he was told the full forward spot aint his ( sooky lala )
Its just my opinion!!

How many flags did Sheedy get in 25 years at Essendon?
I think it was 3.
1 every 8 years.

Lloyd no longer gets paid by Essendon and the media job he is doing, IMO, is very good. He pulls no punches and says what he thinks.
