Brilliant timing as usual, why does it take all week to come to this decision only hours before a game?

seriously things are a mess down there, not just on the field....

Hopefully at 3 pm the SANFL announce that they will be taking over the licence of Port Power and run the franchise independantly of the PAFC. How can they sack Chocco with their financial position?
Absolute basket case and a case study in football club miss-management.

I still think the Pies will win, but it will certainly fire up the Port players.
Mind you though, if they'd fired up earlier in the year they might still have Choco as coach.

Will have my respect for life after the Alan Scott comment . The clubs greatest ever minute and bagging a major sponsor in that exact moment. Can you imaging Scott sitting at home watching with sherry in hand and rug over lap....Friggin fantastic stuff.Mark Willams I salute your achievements.

For $6 odds tonight they are now worth a small investment....
Windy conditions could produce anything.

It will be hard to decide what is the bigger disgrace - not having the balls to sack him last year or if that mob of girls gets up because he is sacked tonight.

That's as disrespectful as you can get. You get all pissed when someone says "How many games have you played", so sure, go ahead and call them girls, but how many games have you played?

Not liking this whole siuation but I can draw some positives from this.
Richmond took years to decide to get rid of Wallace, they could have cut his contract up but chose not to and it was much to their detriment as they spent years floundering under him and it will take years to rectify.
We can move on now, we can thank Mark for delivering us our first AFL Premiership and now start to build towards our future. Every club has tough times and this is all the more "news worthy" because Port Adelaide have not had many dark days in our history.
The whole Laidley arrival was clearly a safety net that is about to be thrown out to catch us in and I dont think we could be in better hands. Laidley had a crap squad for some time at the 'Roos and still managed to keep them competitive. I'm hoping he can ( if appointed, as I write this before the Presser ) can do the same here.

I would nomally agree Booney but after seeing Chad Cornes play last week I think REB has a valid point.
