Sorry if this has been done before - but....

Everyone was carrying on about Michael what's-his-names leg on the weekend and that it was so sickening they couldn't watch it.

I didn't see the news on the weekend, so finally You Tubed it on Monday evening.

Meh.

It could probably be because I'm a trainer myself,so I can handle seeing most stuff but for mine that was nothing.

The only injury I still can't watch to this day is Darren Milburn knocking out SOS back at the turn of the Century. The thought of him convulsing as his eyes are rolling to the back of his head still gives me the willies

So, which injury completely grossed you out?

I remember when John Barnes broke his arm back when he was playing for the Cats against Carlton i think it was? He snapped the top part of his arm and you could literally see it snap. Was pretty horrid.

Richard Osborne playing for Sydney copped a shocking head clash at the SCG in about 1993. He was lying on the ground shaking. Horrible look.

Richard Osborne again playing for Fitzroy when a Collingwood player fell across his knee and it bent like Rubber. ACK!

Poor bastard!

I think that might be Jason Snell in that last one. Never played again.

Apparently Jamie Lawson's broken leg for Sydney was a particularly bad one. Also never played AFL again.

For mine it is still Jason Snell.
The underated former Cat who broke his ankle/leg in such a sickening fashion that his foot was facing the other way and he had his career unfortunately instantly ended at the age of 24 at the start of 2001.

Game was at MCG but can't remember who they were playing.

Having torn angle ligaments before, I find it sickening to see anyone's ankle give way beneath them.

Here's an infamous (real) injury from Pro Wrestling: Sid Vicious' broken leg (warning: nasty)

I was at the MCG when Joel Smith did his knee when playing for the Saints v Collingwood must have been about 95?

It was awful, and the big screen showed every conceivable angle! Reakon the crowd groaned half a dozen times.

Very similar to the Osbourne knee REB mentioned earlier.

Bogut's arm in the Basketball recently was also terrible.

Although I wasnt there a mate broke his leg playing C grade for Flaggies v Brighton at Brighton a few years back. The snap was so loud it stopped the rugby game on the adjacent oval!
