Geelong's Steve Johnson is facing 4-weeks out for two striking charges against the Saints Steven Baker. With early pleas, he'll miss three weeks. His Cats teammate Cameron Mooney can have a three week ban for striking cut to two with an early plea.

Being made a scapegoat in my opinion for this hand-whacking charge. This type of action has been going on for years. If you're not fit to play, sit on the pine.

9-12 weeks for some push and shove. Both players gave as good as they got

More inconsistency from the AFL, just a week after Chris "Pressure Point" Judd gets off for a cowardly elbow that stitched up Pavlich.

I agree with you there but most of the reports stem from before the game which is kinda weird

What a load of BS.

I see blokes get KO'd from kinghits in my league and umpire says bad luck he was the instigator NO GAMES and then the AFL does that.
As a fan I loved it.
The only reportable offence was the elbow, everything else was text book niggle.
As for attacking an injured player.. once you've crossed that White Line you are declaring yourself fit for battle.
Play on.

Finally hes got what he deserves, never goes out to play footy more intent on causing trouble behind the play and off the ball.

Getting games for hitting his sore hand is a bloody joke. What is this game turning into?

On that basis i would think all Ruckmen would be getting suspended every week for all their stray elbows into guts and sternums at every bounce and boundary throw in.

Baker LOL. Wish Stevie J smashed him more. He's a ****' lowlife footballer.

Hope he appeals, and they then give him 12.

His team mates should all of been suspended for not helping him out that night. They were piss weak the lot of them for letting him cop all that treatment from Mcphee without punishment.
