Power v swans

Went down to AAMI tonight, Port started strong but couldnt hold off the surges of the Swans. Once Port got a couple of goals behind, they were never going to get the lead back again, they never had the leg speed to match Sydney as the game went on and were found out. Sydney steadied themselves and found players who were prepared to run hard to make position, while the Power recklessly and thoughtlessly blasted the ball forward or should i say almost sideways to no advantage to themselves. I also think Brogan will be looking for somewhere else to play next year as he is finished at that level from what I saw tonight, his ruckwork isnt any good to the team and when he does get the ball, he has not a clue what to do with it, gives away soft clumsy frees and then when he does get a soft touch he looks at the umps asking, 'What about me', I hope he doesnt get dropped because he wouldnt be much value at Souths the way he is running around at the moment.

And as for the last few minutes of the game, its no wonder ppl dont turn up to AFL matches like they used to if thats the type of crap thats served up by the team in front.

I thought the umps did alright tonight, a couple of their decisions were pure guesses, and two or three holding the ball decisions were crowd pleasers only, otherwise they were pretty good.

Tonight was the first time in over 7 years I have been to AAMI, and did I enjoy it? No and i cant see myself going back there again to watch Port for probably another 7 years on tonight performance.

BTW the Bus in from TTG was terrific took no time at all, getting away after was even easier, if you want to have a no hassle footy experience, then grab a footy express.

Yep Roberts Thompson grabbed him high but he (Motlop) also grabbed the Swans player high before Thompson grabbed him. Umpire finally paid the third free kick.

Power supporters around me (northern end) went off open the other eye people.

Motlop also grabbed a Swans player in the play before the Powers first goal to Cornes. Wasn't paid. Thought the Power got a ride tonight from the umpires.

Also what is the problem with getting to and from Footy park??? 30 mins from Mitchem to get there and parked. Then 35 mins to get home to Hallett Cove. Seriously anyone who thinks it is hard to get to needs their head read.

agree. i went to the Port v Judd game. probably one of the biggest crowds they've had this year outside of a Showdown. took me a little over an hour to get home to Victor. No problems at all.

Those who say it's hard to get to Football Park, are those who want to turn Adelaide Oval into a generic concrete jungle. It's better to spend the $450 million plus on public transport, roads, schools, health etc.
