Port's record against Sydney in recent years has been quite ordinary, and I can't really see it changing this week despite the game being played at home. I would like to see Lobbe come in as back up ruckman to Brogan, with Trengove being played at CHF. Salter also needs to come in to the side.

Swans to win by 28 points.

Agree with Lobbe in the ruck, I thought he did well in his couple of games. Also agree with Trengrove playing as a permanent forward, provides a good target to kick to, straightens the side up and takes the pressure of Ebert as the marking target.

I agree Dark Knight 6 goals, it'll be interesting to see if Port stick with  Motlop
If they don't the margin maybe around 3 goals.

Salter must be just about due a run in a key spot and be given a few weeks to settle, surely?

He was outstanding for the Eagles on Sunday and looked to be strolling around half arsed and still got 20+ possies and 4 goals. Port must make the most of him now before he gives the top flight away thinking nobody rates him.

We will struggle this week against the defense of the Swans, we are struggling to score now and this week wont be any easier.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

After reading in the advertiser today comments RE Salter not being able to read the footy up forward well enough at AFL level

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME ... the bloke obviously is on the outer for other reasons.

When we continue to persist with Westhoff and Ebert for an entire season. And Hitchcock seems to be straight in as one of Chocos love child.

Behind a fit Tredrea would be the second forward picked for mine ... Give the bloke a chance FFS

I have to agree with you Freo HeaveHo.
Let them learn the hard way.

Agreed, he is definitely on the outer. After seeing him at the Palais last night I wondered what was going on with him and if he wants to play for the Power because of their reluctency to pick him. He dominates for WWT in the SANFL and can't get a game for Port who needs a Tall foward who is a regular goalkicker, I just don't understand it. I reckon he might leave Port, I'm sure there would be a few clubs that would have some interest in picking him up.

None of the administrators (who have the biggest say on how this site functions) barrack for Port or the Crows. This policy has been in force about a month now and was not brought in specifically to stop criticism of the PAFC. If you have any further comments re this, please PM any of the moderators or site admin.
