Round 11 preview:
Richmond will need to keep up the same endeavour against the Saints on Friday night at the Dome, but I think the Saints will be too strong. Especially after the slog in the wet at Floodball Park last week against the Power. Carlton should account for the Dees, which always spells danger for the Blues (being favourites that is). Adelaide on the back of the Edwards finale should lift, but will it be enough for them to get over the Dockers? West Coast who despite not playing well, used the ball better than the Blues on Sunday face up to the Cats at home on Sat night. North, after two ten goal losses in a row back up to face a potentially rejuvenated Lions. Sunday gives us a better indication of where some teams are at for mine, in particular, Sydney, Essendon, Hawthorn, Port and the Bulldogs. Sydney play Essendon at the SCG in a must win for the Swans. Essendon after winning 4 of their last 5 are pushing for a berth in the top 8 after looking GORN after the first 5 rounds. The Swans need a win to get back on track after sitting top after Round 6. Hawthorn play Port in the Stewy Dew/Brent Guerra/Shaun Burgoyne cup match at Port's second worst favourite ground, the MCG. Collingwood and the Bullies, both not firing that well at the moment play each other in a rematch of Round 1 where the Bullies were towelled up after their Escort Cup......sorry Wizard Cup.....NAB Cup win.
