Most loved opposition Player

Postby CoverKing » Tue May 18, 2010 4:21 pm

WHo is your most loved opposition player?

Not one of the love to hate, ala Chad Cornes, but one that you genuinely watch a game to watch a player play, one that you hope dominates even if it is against your side.

For mine my most loved player is Porplyzia. All class. Fair player, courageous, and god damn skillfull. He is freaky infront of goals and just as good in the midfield.

Also love watching Mitchell play just because of his clearence work and the skills he has in there!

Heath Grundy of the Swans and the big Lurch Sandilands from Freo. As Grundy was a Norwood boy I've watched him come through the ranks and this has been a really good year for him. Sandilands is just a freak and he's just getting better every year at the moment.

Jonathon Brown, Gary Ablett, when on are just awesome to watch and can win games for their side in 5 minutes. Cyril Rioli is amazing to watch as well, his flashes of brilliance leave me wishing i had 1/1000th of his skill

i absolutely LOVED Juddy........then he went to Carlton, and being a Pies supporter, i find it very hard to like the color navy blue, never mind any of their players! i do still enjoy watching him play though.

Nick Riewoldt. his work rate and courage, is to me, second to none.

Joel Selwood. I think he's a bit overshadowed by his fellow midfielders. Love how hard he goes, and has the skills to go with it.

and most recently, from being at the Port v Carlton game on sunday, i was extremely impressed with how hard Setanta works when he hasn't got the ball. So he earnt a fair bit of my respect on Sunday.
