Mick & Milne

Bit confused as to why St.Kilda have made no effort to pursue the alleged comments by Mick Malthouse to Stephen Milne.

If I were Milne I would not take those comments lightly at all and would seek every avenue of compensation possible.

Pencil in Round 15 for when they meet again.

Tony Shaw doesn't miss an opportunity to have a crack at Malthouse or his former team does he.

Fair enough too.

The whole incident sums up Mick Malthouse and Collingwood really. They all strut around like tough guys and talk the talk (ala Didak, Davis, Medhurst, Cloke should I keep going?), but as we saw Friday night, they just havent got the class or the heart to walk the walk. Give up on the verbal and physical intimidation boys and try and win a game of footy against quality opposition you fools!

Interesting given that all week Eddie had been complaining about the 'feral' SA supporters and his COACH goes and does this...

Wonder how much Ed will be shooting his mouth off about this?!?

It pisses me off this isn't going further. Eddie Everywhere has come in and weaseled his club out of it as he does. Could you imagine the uproar if it was a Collingwood player who was subjected to the abuse. We wouldn't have heard the end of it.

I did like the way that only days earlier he spoke about how Mark Williams did anything he could to win even outside the rules and then Friday night we have Malthouse and dont forget Lucria as well. All caught on tape acting like unproffessional tools. I dont know eddie sometimes I reckon people are out there just to make you look like an idiot. But what I did enjoy is the Collingwood players going out after Jones and Baker and then sending out Leigh Brown after Reiwolt as well.

Milney deserves everything he gets! and in football circles it is well known about Milne's involvement in a certain incident.

I heard somewhere that St Kilda were furious and ready to take this all the way but I believe Milne is not wanting to drag it on and bring it all back into the spotlight again which you can understand.

Collingwood should really have come out and fined him $5k just as they would if a player did it, issue the apology then move on. But now the AFL will be forced to act, theyre investigation will take days/weeks even thought its a open/shut case and it will be dragged on.

What a deplorable comment. Even if you are "in the circle" ( which I highly doubt ) this is a terrible thing to say about a man who was cleared of any wrong doing.

So you think it's ok for coaches to go around saying things like that to players on opposition teams?

Brought up AGAIN. It's old news, as you even said everyone knows about it. Your acting like this happened on the weekend and it hasnt been spoken about a million times already.

I do agree with you it was good to see a bit of passion back in the game, bit of fire, but the words used were not appropriate.

Booney he was cleared by the courts, not by the 'football circles'. Bit like the 2 Power lads at the turn of the century.

I'd take the judgment of courts and police well above those of the rumour filled BS that fills 'football circles'. If you were to base your comments on football rumours over the years you would look foolish more often than not.

Wasn't aware the 'football circles' ran the justice system in this country....

Might have to go and get arrested in the hope of meeting Judge Andrew Mcleod, he is an idol of mine!

Typical Milne, he started it by calling someone a homosexual and cries like a baby when someone has a go back at him. If the little sniper doesn't like it he should behave better in the first place. Good onya Mick, I would have done exactly the same.

Dont get things mixed up here, Milne is a turd. We would all have been called a homosexual or similar by big mouthed sledgers in many sporting pursuits, but calling someone a rapist? Poor form by Mick.

As I said Milne is a sook and deserves everything he gets! I would have loved to seen him shape up to Mick and them go toe to toe
