Game maybe called off

Officials in Melbourne evidently left the roof open at whatever that stadiums name is and there has now been a huge storm. Word drifiting in is that the St Kilda & Fremantle is probably going to be called off, surely this will be a first

Game is going ahead, roof evidently collapsed and most of Melbourne has been shut down

Where the he'll do you get your info from? The roof at Etihad collapsed, yet the game is going ahead!

well a collapse of sorts.
The whole thing didn't cave in if that is what you are thinking, just the Water proofing properties of the roof collapsed allowing a torrent of water to flood the medallion club and the playing surface.

Cats v Lions cancelled on the weekend. Looking at what happened to Hawthorn and Melbourne I reckon a cancelled game isn't the worst thing that could happen during the pre-season.
