Power v Eagles

Talk on the national game

Power v Eagles

Postby Blue Boy » Tue Jun 13, 2006 5:46 pm

I think a few Crows supporters may just hope to see an upset in this game.

The Eagles have had a couple of close ones and the Power have had a couple of easy games in the last couple of weeks !!!!
It is what it is !!!

The kids have been impressive the past weeks against arguably the worst three teams in the comp.

Looking forward to see how they go in their first real test.

The Weagles are due to drop a game.

Aren't they?

on the surface Port have been smashed against sides with good midfields and sides that run hard

all respect for Carlton, Essendon and Hawks, their not exactly the hardest running sides in the comp.........

Eagles easy

I agree Syd,WCE will have a lot more options in their hard running midfield, however, more often than not Dean Cox manages to give them a solid supply of well directed knocks to their advantage.I think Lade is one of the cagiest ruckman in the game and Brogan should be able to match Cox around the ground, hopefully having an impact on the way WC break away from clearances.A good test for the likes of Salopek and Surjan this week, they will either have to motor around with a Cousins,Kerr or Fletcher,or have a Stenglein or Fletcher next to them.Looking forward tothis one,not because I think we will win,but because of the test in front of us.Pity I will be away with the *hiccup* boys.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Should be a good test for our young group, but overall, the I think challenge will be too big.

I'll be there!

Good win in the end. Damn, Pearce is impressive. Junior is developing into a real classy mover.

Said it before, I'll say it again, given the AFL's obsession with athletes and given Pearces performance at the 2004 draft camp, it's absolutely staggering that this kid was overlooked. Must have had a line put through his name due to the fact that he is under 5 '10.
