Port Adelaide "back in black"

Port Adelaide unveils new home & clash guernseys for 2010. They are a slight variation on the guernsey designed by a 9 year old girl that was used twice this season.

I like them, especially the black one.

Both look absolutely sensational after having some real shockers over the years and they fixed the only downer on this years effort in moving and making the emblem smaller. A big well done to the Power from me!
Hopefully more design companies will take a leaf out of the 9yos book and realise simpler is better when it comes to guernseys.

Both good jumpers. In fact, the Light Blue, White and Black combo isn't a bad one. Unlike the Freo comglomeration which is an absolute Dog's breakfast.

I like them, probably the biggest conern though is the lack of a major sponsor on them, must be a worry for the admin @ Port

Maybe they can be sponsored by Akka Dakka.

I like them both. When we first wore the Black with the V in 09 the members of the PAFC had a "limited"opportunity to purchase one of the guernseys, I held back and waited. Now I'll be able to buy one off the rack much cheaper than the "limited" run...

Im sure if you wanted Booney, you could still purchase one of those Limited guernseys!!! They are still trying to sell the "limited time only" guernseys. Problem is, the limited time has gone for 6 months

The Club has Lost its way...

Management must be accountable.

Too many people (in upper management) got carried away with being in the AFL.

And forgot about what makes a football club successful.

Well done Port on choosing to use this guernsey. It's looks fantastic. Strong. Great compromise on not being able to have the prison bars.
As it's a traditional looking football guernsey, it's appearance won't be dictated to by changing trends - unlike those lightning bolts.

I liked that black guernsey from day one and still do. Good move to have those as the official guernseys.

They've gone and pulled out one of the best guernseys in the league. Better than any graphic designer could have done and not a gradient in sight.

About time a footy club listened to what their supporters wanted.

I reckon they might've won a few people over in the early days with something like this, a good tough looking traditional style footy guernsey.

Agree with all. Both guernseys look fantastic. As Wedgie said the only downfall of the one worn earlier in the year was the large logo under the V. That has been removed and Port now have one off the best looking oufits (both home and clash) in the AFL. Never thought i'd say this but well done Port.

agree 100%.

if i was to have a little go at the design, the only thing i could pick would be that the V dosnt go right to the top of the shoulder, but apart from that, i love it!

Great news guys! Jump on board, buy a membership, perhaps a set of guernseys for the family and then while at Alberton buy yourself a Magpie membership just up Port Rd near Maughan Thiem on your way home......

Glad to have you all on board.
