Good to see the club backing young Brodie Martin to bounce back from a knee injury by promoting him to the senior list. Very talented young player IMO, definitely worth taking a punt on him.

Its fantastic news, though balanced by the horrible news that the Crows may keep burton, Goodwin, Edwards and Mcleod.

How is it horrible?

They're all contributing are they not? Simple solution if you're really that worried, reduce their game time significantly next season, have them coming off the bench and playing 70% while guys like Otten, Petrenko and Sloane take their roles.

It is horrible because we both know that what you suggest isn't going to happen, when the chips are down, Craig will bring in the four horseman of the apocalypse and guys like Petrenko will get shafted back to the hybrids.

I reckon Neil Craig will have noticed what happened against Collingwood and be aware of the limits of the older guys.
He'll ease the kids in like he did Bernie Vince, and gradually cut down the older guys time in the mid-field.
Personally, I'd cut Burton now..

Yeah I would look at getting rid of Burton in favour of Walker.

I am in total agreement. Although it would be good to see if Burton could manage another pre-seaon. Play HIM in the SANFL and make him earn that last forward spot. Walker needs a bit of good luck as far as selections.

Very happy for Brodie Martin, and what a good club Adelaide is for doing so, maybe there is still some integrity in the AFL.

Nah mate there isnt, Adelaide will be fined by the AFL for showing any sort of integrity!
