I'm tipping both losers from last week should get up. The Collingwood v Crows game will be a ripper.

I'm heading to the 'G on Saturday evening for Crows v Maggies.

I'm quietly confident the Crows can get the choccies but I think it's going to be very close either way.

Im tempted to go to a pub to watch it as my missus can get quite animated after a few scotches with the Crows on the TV. I'm hoping they lose as the missus would probably put her boot through the TV and give me an excuse to get a new plasma!
Will be interesting the week after if they win as it would b Geelong v Adelaide and we'd have 4 seats in the Geelong members area.
Would be a bloody long drive home if the Crows got up! :?

As a Geelong man who would you rather face Wedgie, Crows or Pies?

As far as winning goes it doesn't bother me, Im more worried about our injury list.
As far as personal preference goes I must admit it doesn't bother me too. Collingwood would be a better atmosphere, a bigger crowd and less cars on the road where Adelaide winning will make it a nicer and quieter affair and will make my missus happy.
Probably Adelaide as their fans aren't as feral.
Your post has reminded me I better book some accomodation this week before next week's rush.
Does anyone know which match is on which night in Week 3 of the finals?
Im hping the Geelong game would be on the Friday night but that's when we played last year when we were top so I assume it would be alternated this year since they're in the opposite half of the draw?

I'd expect Saints to be offered the Friday night fixture for the prelim with the extra day's break before the GF. Also the winner of Bris/Bulldogs play Saints and their game is scheduled for Friday this week so would make sense.

I reckon they'd give Collingwood or Adelaide a 7 day break meaning that Geelong would play Saturday night and St Kilda on Friday night

That's what happened last year. The Bulldogs played the previous Friday night so then played Geelong on Friday. St Kilda played Hawthorn on the Sat night with a 7 day break from their Sat night final v Collingwood in the previous week.
In between signatures .....

Now I just have to hope North do the right thing and lose their first final so I have absolutely no need to rush the return trip!

Ticket Update

AFTER tickets to this weekend's semi-finals went on sale to the general public on Wednesday, the Collingwood-Adelaide clash has sold more tickets than the Western Bulldogs-Brisbane Lions clash.

As of Wednesday night, there were 29,000 tickets still available for the first semi-final between Collingwood and Adelaide.

The second-semi final is not far behind with 30,000 tickets still available for that clash.AFTER tickets to this weekend's semi-finals went on sale to the general public on Wednesday, the Collingwood-Adelaide clash has sold more tickets than the Western Bulldogs-Brisbane Lions clash.
