Selwood & Johnson in doubt for tonight's game also....

Hope the Cats "take it easy" tonight so the Blues win and thwart any chance of the Hawks making the finals. [-o<

How would Carlton winning thwart any chance of the Hawks making the finals? It's 8th spot the Hawks are after but going on last weeks effort the Hawks are doing a fine job of thwarting their own chances.

By my reckoning Carlton will finish 8th / 9th. The spots in which Hawthorn looks likely to finish.

Chose the right game to go to tonight, the draw at the G, a few random thoughts from the game -

> First time Ive been in the new MCG members and what a place, amazing
> good game from both teams coming off interstate travel the previous week
> Mitch Clark is a sensational ruckman/player, if he isnt the best Ruckman in the comp now he soon will be
> Daniel Rich, wow I know he has impressed many, but geez what a star
> Brett Stanton, dunno what Bomber fans think but very ordinary player, would trade him for sure
> Brisbane need to improve their defensive pressure, it is clearly a weakness in their make up
> Dont the Bombers have any young ruckman coming thru? rucking Lovett Murray was comical
> Impressed with the support for the Lions, probably 33% of the crowd was Lions fans

I am far from a expert on the Essendon list but i think Christian Bock, a rookie from WWT, is rucking for Bendigo atm as the rest of the recognised ruckmen are all injured.
