50/50 game this one, Collingwood don't travel a lot, but they do have a good record on the road in the last few years.

Er, they've won at the Gabba, Subiaco and ANZ Stadium this year. And a final on Football Park less than 12 months ago.

As for the Crows bouncing back - from what? Their performance on Saturday was very good.

I agree with GWW - a 50/50 game.

Mackay fit again and Walker still pressing for selection, is there a spot for them in the line up or will the team remain unchanged? Thoughts?

I would like to see both back in the team, but at the same time can't really identify anyone who deserves to be dropped to make way for them!

Depends on what Craigy wants for the finals. Now is the time to start settling the sides down (bar injuries) in the lead up to the finals. Does Walker fit into the plans ? I wasn't overly impressed with him last week at the Bay. And from the forward structure who do you drop ?

Dangerfield is in doubt for this game, with a back complaint. so Mackay may come straight in for him. as for Walker, well he has been playing good footy but whos spot do you give him

Disappointing to hear Dangerfield is in doubt, but Mackay is a more than adequate replacement should he not come up. The only way I see Walker forcing his way into the lineup is if Bock doesn't come up, they may move Stevens to half back and bring Walker in as an extra forward option. Otherwise it's another week with the Redlegs, won't hurt the young fella.

I have a feeling that Craigy will try and find a spot for him come finals though, he'd be pretty keen to get him exposed to finals football.

i'm sure you guys will be happy to hear, that myself being a diehard collingwood man, am not confident at all either! if the crows play like they did against the catters last week, it;ll be crows by 5 or 6 goals i rekon. if not, then it's anyones game.

also, i know it's a sellout, but does anyone know how i can get my scummy hands on a couple tickets? would do almost anything to be there!

On AdelaideNow:

"Walker has to wait for run"

I like the way Craigy and the selectors are playing this one personally. The team is doing fine without him, and although solid he could be doing more in the SANFL.

I think Adelaide have one of the better forward halfs going around, but Presti will smother Tippett, OBrien will shadow Porplyzia and Maxwell will once again find himself the extra man up*.

For Adelaide to win they need to make Maxwell accountable and negate the influence of Didak, Swan and Pendelbury.

I'm looking forward to this one as Collingwood like coming over here, 'Pies by under 15.

I'm gonna go out on a limb this week and say that Adelaide will finally come out and make their case for a top four birth this week.

Good ins for Adelaide with Walker & Mackay, Walker with something to prove will kick minimum 4 goals. Porpy also to fire up after a few quiet games and kick 5 to light up the home crowd.

Crows to win by 30+

Presti,O'Brien and Maxwell are all in good form, I expect Walker to spend most of the night keeping a tracksuit top in a job.

Why did they only get 13 goals against Geelong with no Taylor, Scarlett, Hunt, Longergan and with Harley playing his first game in about four weeks? Now you could say that Lonergan is a bit player and Hunt has been out all year but Lonergan is crucial to the side when Taylor and Scarlo are out and we've been missing Hunt in the backline all year. If you say the game was won in midfield well we've had Joel Corey filling in the back half to stop this gun forward line of theirs.

Needless to say, I reckon that the Crows coughed it up last round and any Blackbirds fan who reckons they have bridged the gap in a big way is delusional. As you said Boon, the Pies back half is solid...certainly better than the backline the Cats fielded last weekend at Cat Park.

I reckon the Crows are pretenders and that this status will be revealed to all when they get rolled by the Pies on Saturday night.

REB
