Do yourself a favour and take the $2.90 currently on offer for West Coast against the Bombers. I like the look of the Eagles lineup this week and I reckon they're near certainties.

Also congratulations to Callum Wilson who has been terrific in the WAFL and deservedly gets a chance at AFL level.

Port v Hawthorn is virtually a final given the last position in the 8 looks to be coming down a battle between them. One to make it and one to miss and the result of this game could be the factor that swings it either way.

Plenty at stake for both teams. It should be a great game actually. Hopefully the Port fans get out there to support them.

What the whole 10,000. So by counting feet they get 20,000

Congrats to Andrew Walker, making his return to Carlton this weekend. A bit of axe swinging (finally) at Carlton.
In: Armfield, Jamison, O’hAilpin, Robinson, Stevens, Walker
Out: Chris Johnson (hamstring), Greg Bentley, Brad Fisher, Shaun Grigg, Adam Hartlett, Chris Yarran

Would've left Grigg in for another week and Stevens out though. Happy with the rest 8)

Carlton have to win. Lose this and it's adios to the finals.
Bulldogs will consolidate in the top 3, and smash the Shockers
Geelong too strong at home for the Crows.
St Kilda should keep the fire going nicely.
Collingwood just over the Lions, although if it's wet & Browny fires Brisbane may get up.
Melbourne v Richmond. Who cares ? No - one....
The Hawks will beat the Power who just rolled over and took it last week.
West Coast are on the tank. Essendon will win.

I wouldn't write Brisbane out of this one at all. Collingwood have had a few hard ones of late and as previously mentioned, if it rains, that brings Brisbane right into the equation. Still say Brisbane are genuine smokies for the flag - yes, they would need a lot to go right for them and certainly Geel and St Kilda are the benchmarks, but the Lions are continuing to sneak under the guard of many.

Fair dinkum, great effort by the Roos, tried their hearts out, kick straight and we win....always going to be a huge task with back to back 6 day breaks and travel over the past fortnight

Thanks fror the memories and 2 flags Simmo... =D> =D> =D>

Struth, the Blues will be just making up the numbers if they happen to fall into the finals....

Yep i agree about the blues they will struggle to have much of an impact in the finals.

Well done to Simpson on a superb career 300+ games is a great achievement.

I thought Levi Greenwood did a great job on Judd in the first half tonight, maybe found him a job for the rest of the year and maybe beyond.

First time Carlton has beaten the Roos since 2004.....

Nice to see the gesture of the lads line up for Simpson (whilst the song was playing  ).....

Was a great effort but bad kicking is bad football. Simple as that.

And Dutchy you think Ziebell is going to be a superstar, Anthony is going to be one out of the box. Book it in.
