I was just perusing the GC17 website, and opened up their membership brochure to see what was on offer.

What surprised me, was that Kurt Tippett features twice in two photographs. One is a pic of him photo-shopped alongside Judd, Rieuwoldt and (his name escapes me but a Brisbane player), and the second pic is of him in his Crows gear on a page where the Chairman and current Club Coach Guy McKenna are asking people to become innaugural members in 2009.

I thought it was pretty brazen to be using Tippett in a Crows guernsey to promote the future of the Gold Coast FC.

(BTW, memberships are $49!)

We are probably all going to hate the Gold Coast Tampons sooner rather than later.

How about you show us your club, its only fair if you're going to be critical of others.

Sure Tippett is there but so is Merritt, Reiwoldt and Judd and Im sure they wont get them all........

True, but Tippett is the only current AFL player shown twice - and there are only 2 pictures showing current AFL players. One is the "group shot", the other features him (solo) on the page with the Chairman and McKenna, in his Crows uniform.

They use those blokes as they're the teams playing on the Gold Coast this year. Well apart from Merrett, but who's pic would you put in from Richmond ?

They used Merrett??? That would turn most away!!

have another look... he is only on there once but it is on a page where its joins, page 2 and 3 i think, its the same photo haha

You might be right - one picture but because he is on the RHS, he shows up on two pages.

Actually Tippett is only on there once. Page 2 and 3 of the brochure is the same page. Take a look at the heading at the top. "JOIN THE JOURNEY in '09" is across both pages. On page 3 you are actually getting the right side of the "group shot" where you only see Tippett
