Ok, we expected a loss, but come on be competitive.

For me, one passage of play late in the game sums up Port for me...

Brett Burton's fourth goal.

He pretty much ran a marathon around the man on the mark to kick that goal.

Nobody gave a yelp.

Diabolical.

Now as a Crows supporters I admit our ruckmen aren't the best going around, but what do the Port supporters think of the future for Port in the ruck ?? Is anyone apart from Brogan and Lade close to selection ?? It seems that not alot of thought has gone into life after Brogan and Lade...

Then he catches a glimpse at the last second. Goal!

They don't have the respect or desire to play for Dom or Choco. Or both. Or they just don't have any heart.

Id like to say your all a bunch of ***** and your all wrong........but i cant. Your all pretty spot on. Lazy chasing, lack of shepherding/protection for the ball carrier, not effort to effect pressure and basically no desire. The problems are big, and in some ways bigger than what a bottoming team might face. On the comment about ruckmen, theres only one way we can compete in the rucks next year and thats to recruit a ready made one. Theres no way Lade can go on next year.

What about when Kane Cornes kicked their first goal in the 3rd quarter. Not one person went to him and celebrated, congratulated him or anything to pump the fellas up. NO HEART, NO DESIRE!
The amount of times i've seen the Power kick a goal that could've instigated a fightback and not one bloke gets around the goalkicker to fire them up.

It's so important in this day and age, to fire up your team-mates and mentally switch on.
Watching the Cats do it on the weekend when they looked gone against the Hawks was fantastic. And ya know what, it got 'em over the line.

Surely Ebert has to go, i am sick of seeing him out there with his big head. Ebert is useless!

Fair call. Hes a one trick pony thats only a good player when the forward line is open and hes on a lead and lets face it theres lots of players that can play that role. Its about time we thro the gold pass system out and teach under performing players whats acceptable and whats not.

i think that port could be in a bit of trouble. . . rodan is one of the only players that looks like he is trying to make somthing happen. dont get me wrong there are a few others that do there fair share week in and week out, but because there is so few at port at the moment, when rodan dosnt fire they seem to be a different side. hurst when one of the best forwards in the games is out (motlop), and tredrea is pretty well past it also...

What will you give us for Mark Blake? He could be in real trouble at Catland. Maybe Primus can assist his game.

Why not give Giles a go in the ruck. yeah he's playing reserves footy at the moment only because griffin and buckets are ahead of him (which is lucky i reckon) he seems to be in the best players every week. surely the kid needs a break and a chance by centrals and the power.

Young Lobbe would be ahead of Giles IMO. i think his form for the bloods has been really good since coming across.
Yes he probably is not ready, but in all seriousness Lade can barely run at the moment. When Brogan gets back in, i would drop Lade and bring Lobbe in. Brogan to play around 65% of the game and get some game time into Lobbe.

Lobbe's best asset IMO is his committment. That in itself should give him a go at the moment in port's side, because there captain, kane cornes and rodan are the only 3 that have committed at all this year.

wasnt there something on the forum or news about ebert being pissed at choco for not giving him a run in the midfield as that is where he wants to play his footy? i cant stand the bobble head when the going gets tough, he gets going and hides in his forward pocket.
i think dom cassisi is one of the only power players that can hold his head up high after every game. puts in all he has got.

Probably a bit harsh on Surjan I would think..... he never seems to stop trying...
