Power vs Lions

Postby Thiele » Fri Jul 03, 2009 5:10 pm

This time last year Port were 47 points in the third 1/4 up but Brisbane won by 20 points. My tip is the Lions by 20 points

I only went as my brother was umpiring his first AFL game. I was sure we would get a bath. And i am sick of seeing those.
Although we won, and that's a bloody start, there was some terrible turn overs, shocking mistakes, and if they hand balled it one more time i was going to friggin shove the ball somewhere of no return!!!!
I don't get chocco's game plan, if thats what it is......
I think, his priority, is to seperate and get rid of the GROUPS!! And there are 3 of them.
I hope u are standing right in the middle of the track when the KARMA train comes.................and it is coming, its time!
You know who you are! Beware!

Can't believe some people wanted to punt Chocko? ;)

If we played like that EVERY week, there'd be no complaints.

Some really good signs: confident, attacking, pressure footy.

Rodan was brilliant breaking the lines. Paul Stewart must play the rest of the year. Josh Carr back to his annoying best. Forward line really clicked.

Fear Chappy might get a week or two off.

Just hope it isn't an aberration...

I am not sure there would be no complaints if they play like that every week.
I was complaining about turning the ball over as much as they did in the first half.
I understand the run and carry they want to do, but you dont have to do it up the entire oval, lets get it into the F50 quickly with a kick.

Good to see Rodan back to his best, love the way he takes on the opposition.
Robbie Gray was very good also, except for the brain fade he had in the third quarter which gave away a goal!!!
