Source?
From what i've heard Ebert's lingering injuries have meant he's not capable of playing in the midfield.
I'm not sure Hawthorn would be his best bet if he did want to move clubs - Mitchell, Sewell, Rioli. If the Hawks did come up with a reasonable trade i'm sure Port would consider it though.

A guy claiming he is a friend of friend at the footy club. I coudnt argue with him as he was saying Brett is a magarey medallist and wants to be played in the midfield.
Not happy with youngseters lik gray and alike getting a shot infront of him.
Apprently he has had the discussion with Choco on numerous ocaasions just nothing ever changes.

Well then, ring Rucci, it's set in concrete...
As for the Medal, SANFL circa 2003 Mid field a little more gentle than AFL circe 2009 mid field.
Having said all that, he might want to get a kick first.

What is it that you are asking?
Have I heard a rumour from a bloke who knows a bloke that knows someone, sure I have.
Do I believe it for a minute? Be sure I dont.

He's just asking if anyone else had heard the rumour.
Crikey Booney, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

That's OK mate, I'll explain it to you the next time we meet as that's the sort of good natured person Iam!
Just remind me to talk a bit slower as I talk so fast that a lot don't understand me.

As bad as Hawthorn are travelling at the moment the last thing they need is the head on legs. If he was a foot taller, was a key postion backman and he was any good then the Hawks might be interested.

Ebert should be angry with Gray getting a shot ahead of him. Problem is, Gray has talent.

Time and time again, Ebert was more than happy to be a lead up forward rather than a crumber, willing to take marks on the chest but rarely putting his scone over it and getting the hard ball.
Gray on the other hand, looked capable in traffic, showed reasonable football nouse and went after it at every opportunity. He'll do well.

I can't wait to hear how the chance of another Geelong reference in a Port thread is relevant to this situation...
