Robert Walls has got no idea.

For fu*ks sake, how can Robert Walls honestly say he's excited by the crap Richmond are playing today. 18 uncontested marks in 2 minutes of footy, it took more than a minute and a half to get the ball outside of Adelaides 50, went backwards more than forward, and that idiot calls it exciting. :x :x :x
If thats the way the AFL is going, it can only be good for the SANFL

Ian - My Great Grandma who lives in Italy and cant speak a word on English, let alone ever seen a game of Aussie Rules knows more about the game than Walls does. Admittedly he was a good player and did good things for Brissy and Carlton, but he is the worlds WORST commentator.
He tipped the Crows to finish bottom in 2005 and probably the same in 2006.

BOO TO YOU WALLS BOO

Bet you weren't complaining when Adelaide did the same thing to defeat Collingwood in Round one.

REB u definately post some tripe.
At least when the Crows "flood" they are able to score decently themselves. Richmond didnt have the skill to kick more than 10 goals in the game.
Depends what you are looking for. A win is a win for an average team like Richmond, but isnt gonna help them make the 8.

Talking about no idea, Foxfooty had some new "boundary runner" commentator tonight in the Swans v doggies game.

I've never heard of hiom before, and presumably never again.

included some absolute gems, including "When Adam Goodes is tired, he gors to the forward libe. The doggies player on him, Rober Murphy follows him down there. Sacary stuff for Murphy, as he is not used to playing down there"

WTF?

Only the first 5 years of his career.

This is his first year in the forward lines?

idiot.

From Crows V Tigers thread

Ian wrote:Richmond should be reported for bringing the game in to disrepute, as should have the Crows when they did the same thing earlier in the year.

I'm not a Cows supporter either

diddums, so what if richmond successfully kept possession of the ball by kicking it backwards to eachother, why would they kick it up the ground to where the crows were flooding.

there is a simple solution to teams that like to play 'hand off' such as the crows did earlier in the year and that is to man up and be accountable.

its a pity the crows during the week were talking about how much they were going to win by!!!!!

they can do that every week, and they'll lose every week.

My original point seems to have been lost.
How can Walls really believe that it was "exciting" footy to watch?

I thinks Walls was trying to use the word "cerebral" to describe the battle going on
between the coaches. Anthony Hudson never gave him the opportunity while he was
deriding the game.
I can see both sides of the argument. Walls trying to get the point across as to
what Craig could do to counteract Richmond's tactics & Hudson thought it was a shocker.
Good result for Richmond, bad for the sport overall.

......Oh I forgot.. good to see the Crows get beaten :D :D

I reckon Mummbles ( the nick name I rated the best from previous topic for N.Craig ) backed his game plan in and thought Richmond couldnt sustain what they were doin. He was wrong if that is what he thought and will have to take that on the chin and learn from it.

When he changed it around - it was to late

Thus nearly pinched the win

When did he change it around? Richmond remained unchecked through the last quarter. In fact the last minute or so the ball incredibly went back about 100+ metres into their defensive 50 and marks were taken without a Crow being with 25 metres!
