I think they wont. Bet you they do. If the board re-sign him just it would make the Power go Backwards even more

3 weeks ago i heard he was definately gone but recently theres been a change of heart down at Alberton & Choco's back in the good books but f--k knows why.
I wonder how much Kevin Sheedy has helped him out?
There are some board members down there that are weak as p!ss!

Yep, he's got a great record, but is going through a difficult time. If they re-sign him he will have an excellent chance to do the big clean-out.

They'll resign him...
I'd be trying to get Hardwick, but, hey, it's Port Adelaide - surname counts for everything... ;)

Hardwick being a premiership player has a pretty good surname at the club too!

It would be pretty tense at Alberton today ... hopefully Port will make a public announcement today rather than tomorrow.

I think they'll stick with Choco but you never know ... and does Choco want to stay anyway?

In any case, I bloody hope Port banned Hutchy from Alberton today.

What will he do with the guys that seem to have the 'golden pass' as it's referred to in the media?

I hope they dont but i think they will. As sad as it will be to see Chocco go if the board are honest and ruthless there really is no choice. The proof is in the (insert any number of unkind words) way we have been playing. And not just lately but it really has been for a few years. Time for a change.

The Board meets tonight so I doubt we would hear anything today.

According to Rucci the Italian Maestro, the Board is meeting from noon today ...

I would have no reason (other than past experience) to doubt the great man. #-o

What will the Board decide? ... or :Hangman:

I presume first thing.

One must presume that it is not good news for Choco with board meeting going for 9 hours and no-one talking to the media

I dunno, but very intriguing.

Bloody Gerard Healy on the Couch tonight kept saying there's breaking news at Alberton with there's no news ... bastard

10:03 PM Mon 29 June, 2009PORT Adelaide will reveal the future of coach Mark Williams at a press conference at Alberton on Tuesday morning.

The Power board reached a decision in an epic nine-hour meeting on Monday, but refused to reveal any details to the waiting media until the players and Williams himself had been informed.

It is understood the board took more than five hours to reach an agreement on the senior coaching position, at which time one board member left and other items on the agenda were tabled.

A clause in Williams’ current contract stated he was to be informed of the club’s intentions by Tuesday.

Would all the players need to be informed if Williams continued as coach?
Doesn't sound like he will be there to me.
