I was just takin the Mickey out of a Port supporter (what's new) and basically changed their song to a loser version, which is fairly easy and i'm sure i'm not the first. but then it got me thinkin about other teams songs. i'm a doggies fan but i think our song is rubbish... it's good to hear it cos it means we won but i just don't like it. My fav song would probably be the Richmond song, dunno why, i just like it.
we all know that Freo has the worst song!!! whoever wrote that must've been joking! whoever decided to choose that is the real idiot!!!

so who has the best song?

does your club have an original? post it and the tune...

Even being a Carlton supporter I think the Tigers is the best song closely followed by ours. Don't mind the Bummers song. Kangas is crap, sounds like U/9's footy.

BTW, on this topic, apparently Collingwood have changed their song form saying "see the barrackers a-shouting" to "hear the barrackers a-shouting".
The original version was a bit like watching radio commentators call the game ;)

I'm a Richmond fan and I love our song, on the rare occasion I hear it at the end of a game I sing the whole thing at a fairly high volume.

I like the North Melbourne song, and Collingwood's. Freo's is still the worst piece of music in history, closely followed by West Coast's.

Richmond song is by far the most catchy, even if you get to see Halley's Comet more times in your life than you get to hear it.

Have a bias for Carlton's & Richmond's (read Glenelg) songs.

I like the Western Bulldogs too :?

Essendon = crap, Adelaide = crap, Geelong = crap.

WCE, Port & Freo absolute RUBBISH....

Others are OK.

I've never been a fan of the Brisbane or North Melbourne songs either.
