Can anyone shed any light on a question I have been thinking about...

When the roof of 'The Dome' is open for a game (or half a game in the Crows v Bombers game last week...) and the stadium fills up with seagulls, how do they get the buggers out at the end of the day ???

I would think they would open the roof again once the game is over..

Perhaps they live in, or were even born there.
There is a supermarket in Upper Ferntree Gully in Melbourne's eastern suburbs that has a permanent population of sparrows that nest and breed in the steel beam structure of its roof.
They even brought in a hawk at one stage to try to get rid of them, to no avail. I think there are sparrows there that have never been outdoors...

Indoor sparrows...bloody nuisance.

We had them at my old work, and the just shit over the Hawks...

Took a forklift, lifting cage and a hammer to get rid of the nests (disclaimer no animals were hurt at nest breaking time)

well maybe just one......

Seriously catchit... I realise opening the roof is the obvious response but something obviously attracts them in there in the first place so what attracts them out or scares them out ??

Attracts = The dickhead throwing chips in the air yelling "Here Gully, Gully"

Scares = The kids running around clapping their hands going "Fly Gully, Fly"

I'll take the fact that you haven't given an answer as confirmation you have no idea then either. Thanks
