Im with you though the crows game was a very good game of footy with both sides willing to take eachother on and when the game was there to be won they both attacked the footy and player with agression. Yesterday's game was a load of crap that should have taken a 2 min section to say collingwood killed a very poor out fit. I will say though that it is one if not the best Footy show on TV at the minute. Gary Lion is fantastic to listen to as is Grant Thomas I can't say much about the other 2 that's for sure!!!

So I've been watching Footy Classified if and when I can stay awake till the end, this has been a pretty good show over the years, you could say that the format goes back to 7's On The Couch. Lately this show has turned into another Victorian navel gazing bitchfest. It's rare that they will do a reasonable story on any non Vic team, they seem to gloss over any great wins by non Vic teams and prefer to direct their attention to Melb footy gossip.
As an example, last night's show spent about half of it talking about Collingwood, (admitably they had Malthouse on as a guest) and the Melb v Collingwood game, wow 5th v 16th what an interesting spectacle! Rarely do they interview a non Vic coach or captain, there is such a thing as a pre-recorded or satellite interview! The Essendon v Adelaide game was probably one of the best this year, free flowing, high scoring, fast and skillful. It was a great display of accurate, skilled and spectacular goalkicking. This show could've had a highlight reel of the goals kicked and made mention of the few points kicked also, what did they choose to do? They briefly commented on Chris Knights' form and the roof not being shut for the 1st half. Then towards the end they do this stupid "Good Call, Bad Call" crap which is so contrived and awkward it's embarrassing. I've just about given up on getting a show that can deliver well rounded footy observations.

Doesnt the Crows get enough media in this town to satisfy you?

I stopped watching The Footy Show a good ten years ago, horrible show. On The Couch while not the show it was is still pretty good and I like Before The Bounce. One Week At A Time is a bit ordinary and I've never liked Before The Game. How many footy shows are there on TV?
Monday: One Week At A Time (One HD), AFL Winners (Fox Sports), On The Couch (Fox Sports), Footy Classified (9)
Thursday: AFL Teams (Fox Sports), The Footy Show (9)
Friday: Before The Bounce (Fox Sports)
Saturday: Simply Footy (10), Before The Game (10)
Sunday: AFL Gameday (7), The Sunday Footy Show (9)
and while not AFL specific The Back Page (Fox Sports News channel) at 7:30pm on Tuesday's is a great show.

Quite right. If there's one group of supporters who really shouldn't complain about media coverage it's the Crows.

My point is, if you're able to remove the chips off your shoulders, isn't about Adelaide, it's about the format in general, the Victorian-centric attitude of the show, which I remind you is on national TV, (as compared to any media that is produced in SA). Enjoy your foxtel!

They still think its the VFL and if it wasnt for the money generated by the non victorian teams you wouldnt have the excessive number of victorian teams in the competition.
