Beau Muston making his debut for Hawthorn is a great story. Taken in the 2005 draft he missed over a year with a knee reco only to do the same near in the pre season last year. He is now 22 and in his fourth year on the list. Shows how committed he is and how much faith the Hawthorn coaching staff have in him. Hope he goes well.

i've gone with

Dogs - another heart pick... will go alright but no expectations
Freo - think they can do it, North are poo-er
Blues - Crows to remain winless at home
Eagles - real tough one IMO... home crowd to get them over the line
Bombers - have put it together in the last few and should belt the Tigers
Swans - Port are atrocious and should have lost last week, Sydney will cramp them
Saints - too strong, will be a test for defence against Brown and Bradshaw but no big problems
Hawks - finished if they can't beat melb.

looking at the ladder, if the winners are cats, saints, Blues, Hawks, Bombers, Swans (the other two games won't matter) then there'll be a 4 game gap from 2nd to 3rd and 7 teams on 5-4... very even comp this year... in the middle!

Cats - too good for anyone
Carlton -Crows in a slump
North -only because it's in Melb
West Coast -probably closer than the Pies' last two, but the Eagles at home
Essendon -playing well and should account for the Tigers fairly easily
Sydney -usually trouble Port and this should be no exception
St Kilda -Brisbane have problems with two key defenders out, Saints easily
Hawthorn -another "honorable" defeat for Melbourne coming up

Cats. Too disiplined
Crows. Too negative and play a crap style, which Carlton can't handle.
North :? unsure about this game, whoever loses almost curtains for the year IMO.
WCE The Pies are a rabble.
Bombers. Tigers are a mob of empty Wallets
Sainters. Brisbane will go close but no cigar
Hawks. Can't see the Dees winning this one.
Sydney. The bad port this week.

Obviously a little late so will pick the last 7 of the round.

Would have went Geelong.
North- Will beat travelling Freo
Adelaide- Need to start winning at home
Collingwood- Very good when they rarely travel.
Essendon- have to beat these teams
Sydney- Good at the SCG
Hawthorn- Too much class and just too good.
Saints- Streak will keep marching on.

Aker should've had a free in the last few seconds. If that bloke (?) hung onto him anymore he would've been rooting him....

What a great game, Im a Cats man and was almost in tears Johnno missed it!

I'm still amazed Cooney won the Brownlow as I honestly doubt if he'd make Geelong's side full stop! He certainly wouldn't get a gig in front of Ablett, Chapman, Bartell, Selwood, Corey, Enright, Ling, etc. :?
