It might just be me, but is there a prevalence of foot injuries this year, specifically stress fractures and navicular problems?

Anyone know what happened to Houlihan? Did he knock off Ratten's missus or something? He was playing alright and then went missing a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe has to do with some sort of discipline thing. He was set some KPI's for the year and was told if he didn't meet them on field he can go back to the Bullants and work on them their.

Brisbane has been raped by injuries this season.
Looking forward to being full strength by the end of the year!
Merrett, Leuenberger, Dalziell, Charman, Patfull and Selwood to return.

I assumed he'd got injured at training as I thought he was showing some consistant form this season (he was consistantly scoring good points in Supercoach anyway)

Charman is the big loss. Can't wait till we get a full strength team back......if at all!

I'm surprised Ellis isn't on the Hawks injury list. He didn't play in the VFL last week after returning the week before.

No he was not injured, he played for Bullants that week.

As SJABC mentioned he has certain KPI's and they involve his work off the ball rather than his productivity with the football which is always very good.

Will be back soon IMO.

Geelong's Ryan Gamble smashed his head into the turf tonight and went off to hospital with a pretty severe concussion. Paul Chapman smashed his finger, not yet sure if it's a dislocation or a compound fracture. If it's a compound fracture then he'll be out for a couple of months.

Also Higgins just didn't look right and Ablett was limping noticeably after the game. Neither are fully fit for mine.

REB

He was dropped due to rocking up to training in an un-satisfactory state (hungover) actually and considering Scotland is missing tomorrows game you'd think he would have come in for him. They brought Wiggans up instead as they say Hoops hasn;t served his time yet.

My thoughts were that they were both back pretty quickly for the type of strains they had, but were brought in because it was a pretty big game.
