What a round for tipsters!
Hawthorn should be too good for Essendon and I reckon Melbourne can't win the in the West however...
Geelong will be faves against the Swans but no Ablett, Ling, Hunt, Ottens and maybe Harley coming off a six day break against the Swans on our narrow ground that might suit their style of game. I reckon we are vulnerable this week.
On paper Carlton are miles ahead of Freo but Freo has won eight of the last nine matches between the clubs and both sides are travelling in this one so a bit of an unknown quantity for both sides.
North Melbourne are absolute rubbish but so far this season when Port have gone in faves they've been ordinary bar the Melbourne game. North have to show something soon and it could be this week.
Both Adelaide and Western Bulldogs aren't in top form at the moment and I think the Bullies are the better side but they probably aren't in good enough form to win away from home. On the other hand, the Blackbirds haven't won at AAMI all season! Pretty rude draw though getting the Saints, Cats and Bullies to go with the Showdown. Both sides must make a stand here.
Richmond have a great record against the Brions in Melbourne but without Richo they'd struggle to beat Port Magpies.
St Kilda of course are the greatest team to ever walk the planet and the premiership is a mere formality. Collingwood are middle order battlers. So why do I get the feeling that the Pies can salute? Simple. When everyone thinks they can't win they get a bit fired up and actually play better than they are. When they are expected to win they think they are better than they are and the opposite happens.
St Kilda and Geelong to lose in the same week? Surely not!
