Crows to win by about 5-6 goals.

i am thinking a 30-40 point win for the crows, to get that they would need to get off to the start they did on sat (which was one of the best i have seen in a long time) what is the outcome on nick (soft tissue) riewoldt? but to be 2-0 would be great for confidence in the younger boys and neil craig in the fact that we are playing more direct footy and it is paying off.

We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves lads, knocking off Collingwood in Melbourne was a brilliant way to start the season but we've still got a very inexperienced unit and we're coming up against a side on Friday that we have had real trouble beating in recent years.

Agreed FD - I think it will be a tight tussle with a final margin similar to last weeks game. Hopefully we're on the right side of said margin again though!

One saving grace is that there's no Harvey anymore for the Saints, that bloke carved us up just about everytime we played them.

My tip - Crows by about 12 - 15 pts

Agreed. Reckon you might get up by a couple of sausage rolls. I have you in my eight but on AFL Online I appear to be outnumbered.

IMO - This game is more important then last week.. and will show us more about the club moving forward..
The Crows need to show last week was not a flash in the pan and was a true reflection of the game plan and tallent they have.

I hope they win more then I think they will.. in a close game, it could be the home ground advantage that gets us over the line, but the Saints have beaten us the last 3 times they have played @ AAMI... (yet to beat Port there)

04 minor round game, 05 final and 07 NAB Cup final.. that's right - have played them at the Dome in 06,07 and 08.. this year we play them twice (first time since 04) and we can a home minor round game.. that there is a joke!!!
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Crows need to go back to basics with their game plan. They were exposed through the middle of the ground tonight and spent too much time on the flanks and wings. Young fowards are going to struggle with high kicks coming in from the flanks against experienced backman so Craig needed use the middle alot better then he did.
